Representing Kileleni, our family-run eco-lodge nestled on this timeless island, we highlighted what makes Mafia so special: world-class diving, serene dhow sails, whale shark excursions, and a deep cultural history dating back to the 8th century. Just a 30-minute flight from Dar es Salaam, Mafia feels like stepping back in time—a place where life slows down and nature takes center stage.
